I Feel Like I'm Fixing To Fly (2002)

Fittings made this video installation which formed part of "Games People Play" at the Castlefield Gallery, an exhibition which was part of Cultureshock the arts festival that accompanied Manchester’s Commonwealth Games.

Sam Paechter constructed the polyrhythmic soundtrack for this film by layering recordings of 1996 Commonwealth record holder Linda Stanton pole-vaulting.
